Our latest day ride with fantastic pub lunch
On the 11th January we organised an exciting new day ride for our clients taking in the best of the local Lakeland scenery and and extra special lunchtime stopover at the renown Blacksmiths Arms at Broughton Mills. The weather held out (not a drop of rain) and although overcast made for an enjoyable expedition for horses and riders alike.
Below are selection of pictures (click to enlarge) taken on the route home over Dunnerdale Fells. We hope you enjoy them as much as we have.
Our equine drive through in the pub car park..... On the menu. Mc-grass nuts, flaked barley, sugar beet and chaff.. All washed down with the finest Lakeland H2O.
View of Dunnerdale Fells.
Heading into Duddon Valley.
The Blacksmiths Arms. Superb food in a delightful country pub atmosphere.
A farmtrack towards the fell top.
An amazing view to the river Duddon.
Both horses and riders reunited after lunch and a good rest.
